It’s a whole new site for a whole new platform. AONGHAS.COM for Mobile is an optimised version of my website that works by detecting supported devices like iPhones, iPads, Android & Blackberry and more, and delivering a theme that best suits the device instead of the regular full-fledged website. The new Mobile version of AONGHAS.COM is easier to navigate especially on devices with smaller screens, while still maintaining all the content that is available in the full desktop website version. Of course you can always switch back to the desktop version if you want to – you can find a toggle switch at the bottom of the mobile page. Of course the mobile version is only available for portable devices; the recognised user agents are listed below. Don’t forget to bookmark my site, and be sure to check back to read the latest news and check out the latest media.
Currently the supported user agents optimised for the AONGHAS.COM Mobile include: Android, Cupcake, Googlebot-Mobile, Bada, Blackberry 9800, Blackberry 9500, Blackberry 9520, Blackberry 9530, Blackberry 9550, Dream, iPad, iPhone, iPod, Incognito, Galaxy s8000, webOS and Webmate. If you are having problems with AONGHAS.COM Mobile on your portable device, please let me know.

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to my renovated and restored website. It has been exactly two years since my last major update; many of you will remember the midnight launch on 31st July 2008. Over the last four months I have been working hard to revamp and upgrade many features on my website and I apologise for website being down during this time. Much of the code has been re-worked from scratch, including some of the layout methods and graphics. Some of the major changes in this launch include:
- A new wider design layout, increased from 800px to 1024px
- Re-designed headers and page titles
- Dynamically updated home page
- New Contact page using AJAX
- Links page with automatically updating RSS feeds
- Remodelled full-featured multimedia Gallery including photos and videos
- Custom image animations with FancyBox
- The official launch of the AONGHAS.COM Store
- Detailed About Me page (still growing)
- Related posts fetches other similar posts when viewing a single blog entry
- New footer area with useful links and calendar with upcoming events
- Dynamic sidebar with page-sensitive content
There are still minor changes I need to work on, but I hope you enjoy having a look around the site. Let me know if you find any bugs or errors so I can try to fix them up. And before you go, make sure to leave a comment on my guestbook!
As some of you have probably realised, I have neglected my website quite a bit this year, and it’s partly due to laziness, as well as just being so busy with uni and everything else (but yeah, mostly laziness!). So, in the last 30 seconds, I’ve just decided that over my summer break I’m going to make it a priority to get my website back up and running and looking healthy again. Now that I have nothing else to do, I shouldn’t have any excuses!
First of all, I would like to welcome you to the official launch of my website on 31st July 2008 at midnight. For those of you who stayed up to wait for the launch at 11pm, I apologise for the one hour delay. There were a few things I had to fix up before it all went ahead, but luckily they didn’t take too long to adjust.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MRS RUSSELL. Today we celebrated Mrs Russell’s birthday as she turned 21
What I was disappointed about was the fact that I missed out on the birthday celebration during tutor period because I had to talk about International Languages Week at assembly. Luckily there was a little bit of cake left when I got back, so I got to have a taste. It was a chocolate mudcake (I think they’re called?) and it did taste quite good!
I also want to wish Mars Keomahavong a happy birthday for today as he turns… 18?! Wow that’s so old (sorry Mars!) I can’t believe it. For those of you who don’t know Mars, he is one of the earliest memories of a friend I had at Henderson Primary School. Whenever I talk about him to other people, everyone always says “wow, his name is Mars?!” and yes, it’s true, like the planet. In fact, he even has a sister called Mercury and a brother Comet! He was quite the man at soccer/football back in the day, and when I caught up with him the other month, he’s still going strong with his footy apparently, going overseas to play in tournaments etc. So I’m sure he’s going to make the big time soon and when he does become the next David Beckham, I can say “Hey, I know that guy!” Good on ya mate!
