It’s a whole new site for a whole new platform. AONGHAS.COM for Mobile is an optimised version of my website that works by detecting supported devices like iPhones, iPads, Android & Blackberry and more, and delivering a theme that best suits the device instead of the regular full-fledged website. The new Mobile version of AONGHAS.COM is easier to navigate especially on devices with smaller screens, while still maintaining all the content that is available in the full desktop website version. Of course you can always switch back to the desktop version if you want to – you can find a toggle switch at the bottom of the mobile page. Of course the mobile version is only available for portable devices; the recognised user agents are listed below. Don’t forget to bookmark my site, and be sure to check back to read the latest news and check out the latest media.
Currently the supported user agents optimised for the AONGHAS.COM Mobile include: Android, Cupcake, Googlebot-Mobile, Bada, Blackberry 9800, Blackberry 9500, Blackberry 9520, Blackberry 9530, Blackberry 9550, Dream, iPad, iPhone, iPod, Incognito, Galaxy s8000, webOS and Webmate. If you are having problems with AONGHAS.COM Mobile on your portable device, please let me know.
My friend Carey recently launched a new website to help people who have trouble getting to sleep at night. Although it’s often easier to fall asleep in a quiet environment, sometimes the complete absence of any noise whatsoever can also be unsettling. So the solution?
Whether you like the gentle sound of rain outside or birds chirping by your window, there are six different ambient sounds (and counting!) to choose from. They all sound very realistic and you can even mix different sounds together and adjust the volumes separately as you wish.
I think this website is a great idea and would be particularly helpful for those who have trouble falling asleep in silence and just need something soothing to help them rest. Even though the site hasn’t been up for long, it’s popularity is increasing daily as more people discover its effectiveness. So go on, check it out and have a good night’s sleep!

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to my renovated and restored website. It has been exactly two years since my last major update; many of you will remember the midnight launch on 31st July 2008. Over the last four months I have been working hard to revamp and upgrade many features on my website and I apologise for website being down during this time. Much of the code has been re-worked from scratch, including some of the layout methods and graphics. Some of the major changes in this launch include:
- A new wider design layout, increased from 800px to 1024px
- Re-designed headers and page titles
- Dynamically updated home page
- New Contact page using AJAX
- Links page with automatically updating RSS feeds
- Remodelled full-featured multimedia Gallery including photos and videos
- Custom image animations with FancyBox
- The official launch of the AONGHAS.COM Store
- Detailed About Me page (still growing)
- Related posts fetches other similar posts when viewing a single blog entry
- New footer area with useful links and calendar with upcoming events
- Dynamic sidebar with page-sensitive content
There are still minor changes I need to work on, but I hope you enjoy having a look around the site. Let me know if you find any bugs or errors so I can try to fix them up. And before you go, make sure to leave a comment on my guestbook!
As some of you have probably realised, I have neglected my website quite a bit this year, and it’s partly due to laziness, as well as just being so busy with uni and everything else (but yeah, mostly laziness!). So, in the last 30 seconds, I’ve just decided that over my summer break I’m going to make it a priority to get my website back up and running and looking healthy again. Now that I have nothing else to do, I shouldn’t have any excuses!
My Flickr Pro account expired last week so I’m working on a media gallery renovation at the moment. I don’t know if I’m going to stay with Flickr or not; I may end up just hosting the photos myself. Hopefully I’ll have it up and running soon though, so I can get the rest of the camp photos uploaded (I know some of you are waiting patiently for them!)
